It’s easy to lead when things are going well.

It’s easy to take credit for success.

It’s easy to look good when the metrics are going in the right direction.

And yet … I’m reminded of Warren Buffett’s words of caution: “Only when the tide goes out do you discover who’s been swimming naked.”
