Perspectives On Series

In each podcast, our guests share a lot of wisdom. Collected here are the thoughts on different aspects of specific topics or areas, going right back to the beginning of The Knowledge Project. We’ve left their words as is, only doing minor edits for clarity. The order within each perspective series is simply chronological. We chose this structure because the juxtaposition of all these perspectives on various topics and areas is what generates insights.

Perspectives On: Failure

I think the lesson is within that failure, a lot of times there are seeds for success. There are seeds for a follow-up effort. You have to be willing to go back and revisit that failure, which is really hard to do because we want to run away from failure. We want to just say, “I’m not gonna think about that again. I’m not gonna… I’m just gonna leave it behind.” But sometimes there is good reason to go back and extract whatever you can from that failure.
